Where have I been?

 I have been living life! I will have to make updates more often. I should have the time now that I am no longer working. I have had some major health issues since my last post. But I am so much better and mentally in a good place. This is just a quick post to let people know ill be post more often.

Was I Ever Really There?

Sometimes I sit and stare out the window, 

looking at the leaves on the trees and letting 

my mind wander to the point I don’t know what I’m thinking of anymore. 

When I comeback I know not how long I’ve been gone. 

Has any of that time meant anything at all? 

I wonder what others think I’m doing in this state. 

Was I aware at all? 

People tell me they have had awesome talks with me, 

I have no memory of any of them at all. 

What does that mean about them or me? 

Can I be there and not be there at the same time? 

It most be so since it happens all the time, 

so once again was I ever there at all? 

Can a mind be there and the body some-

place else or is the body there and the mind somewhere else? 

I guess if I have left an imprint on another’s memory, 

I must have been there after all.

To anyone who may have ready my last post. I had to delete it because I was in a bad place and not in the right state of mind. Of course I do not believe my church wants us all to be the same and not individuals. If anything it is the opposite of that. To tell the truth I was just making an excuse for the way I had been acting. Now some of what I said was true. I have been spending a lot of time with my family and have and will continue to have more time with them. So to put everything back in order, I say, I am sorry if I hurt anyones' feelings and hope we are all still friends. After all that is said and done, I love you all and want the best for everyone including myself.
Many who have know me since 2003 know I have changed a lot and some of the changes people like and others do not. I can not help how people feel about me when it comes to who I am and who I want to be. This I will not changes because most of the time I like myself.

Start of Fall 2017 classes

Hello everyone. This is one of my blogs I had set up in previous classes. Any post after todays date of September 21, 2017 are for my fall classes. I have not made any posting in a while

I just wanted to let everyone know I took a break this spring form BYU-Idaho this Spring. I will be taking a lighter load of class this coming semester. I usually take the summer semester off but since I took the spring semester off I decided to take 2 of the classes I had scheduled for the Spring.
I am looking forward to making more posting this Summer. Look for my tweets or Facebook Posting to see what I am up to.

So It Begins!

Spring Semester 2017 at BYUI has started as of Monday April 15, 2017. For the next 14 weeks I will be taking Art 235, CIT 160 intro to programming, FDENG 101, and FDAMF 101. My goal is to finish all four classes with an A in each course. I know it will not be easy or do I REALLY WANT IT TO BE. I WANT TO LEARN AND IMPROVE MYSELF MENTALLY, SPIRITUALLY, AND PHYSICALLY. I HAVE ASKED MY WIFE CINDY TO HELP ME WITH REGARDS TO KEEPING ME ON MY SCHEDULE AND DO IT IN A POSITIVE WAY. Oops, I hit the cap locks key. I hate retyping, so shouting it will be posted as.
wish me luck and pray for me. To quote my mother who may of got this saying from someone else, but I am giving her credit for it since that is where I heard it from. "Kevin, There is no such things as luck, it is achieved or it is not." My mother said that to me way before Yoda ever said “Do. Or do not. There is no try.” Miss you MOM.

What a month of March my family and I have had!

Hello all,

I have a lot to catch up on, but I will try to make it short.
• 1st - Our beloved 10 year old Husky named Sabrina passed away in the middle of the night. Jennie took it the hardest and then I. It was weird. fine the day before, gone in the morning.
• 2nd - My son and his girl friend closed on their house a week early. How often does that happen?
• 3rd - Took My sons girl-friend to the doctor for normal visit, they sent her to the hospital for to high of a blood pressure. That was on Monday.
• 4th - She gives birth to a baby boy named William 4 days later.
• 5th. In the mean time My wife and I start to get the house ready for them to move into when released by the hospital. The was fun. I was elbow deep into their toilet while Cindy put the new crib and attached changing table together by her self.
• 6th - Because of all of this my grades at BYUI took a nose dive. I will probably have to retake this semester over.
To tell you the truth this has ended up being a pretty good month except for losing our dog. She will be missed.
That is it for now hope to get a art project uploaded soon. Also I will give an update for my design company and its website.

My Design Studio is almost ready.

Hello Friends.
Most of you know I went back to school almost a year and a half ago. I am right around 41 credits if I pass all my classes this semester. That means I am 19 away from An AA degree. I have started an online Design business where I plan on making custom artwork and other Digital designs. I have not posted all of my projects yet to my website. I only just launched the first page. The address is: http://www.kgcdesigns.com. Not only will you eventually be able to see some of my work but I am also becoming an Amazon.com Associate. Which that means I will be promoting some of the products I use in my studio. Things like Specialty pens, paints mainly art supplies. I am excited that This is really starting to look like it is going to happen. Pray for me and if your not into that wish me luck.

What is everyone up to this past Month?

Hello you all.
Well us students at BYUI on campus or online are back at it. The semester started Jan 5, 2017. We are already on lesson 3 of 14. Math and Accounting bite the dust this week. Just to many due dates to remember. So this semester is Religion 250-44, Art 230-5, and Web Business B250-06.
After talking with my student advisor, I am going to take the classes that will get me a certificate in Web Design first, then work on the classes needed for the AA Degree, then finish up with the requirements for the BS Degree.
I do not need any more religion course till I go for my BS. Advisor told me I already had enough for my AA. I guess taking one class each semester has added up.
Anyone out there who has advise or have questions about BYUI online or the Pathway Program give me a comment or email me.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Hello everyone! It is Winter break for the next two weeks so I hope Myself and all my friends have a Merry Christmas!
I would like to wish my friends of different faiths to have a Happy Holidays season as many others are celebrating this time of year as well.
As we celebrate the Birth of Jesus Christ; may we all have peace and love in our hearts and in our lives. Those who do not have anyone at this time to celebrate with come join us this Christmas Sunday at any House of Worship and everyone in which ever building you go to, you will have many new Brothers and Sisters too call family, because are we not all Children of God? If we are, then we are brothers and sisters just as we are taught in the Bible. We may have different Earthly parents, but I believe we all have the same Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother in heaven.
I send my love to all my friends, brothers and sisters in Christ.

I enjoyed this project a lot. Here is my first Draft for a website I hope to create for a real business that Cindy and I can do together.

New logo! New company name. The one I wanted to use has been taken. The samples I have on this page I created myself while I was employed by Courier Printing. The one for Sun City, Arizona, was a job I did as a favor for a friend of mine. Remeber this is the first draft I handed in today. After I get the feedback I will make changes and post the newer one at that time.

Website of Fictional company I am designing for my COMM130 Class

I Thought it fell under the category of a "How to " info-graphic because it teaches you a recipe.
My instructor did not agree with me.

Now I'm getting my classes confused. Life has it's wonderful moments does it not?

Some how I have gotten two of my classes mixed up and have begun working on design elements for my make believe business in both of them.
Here is why I think I messed up.
I am taking Art 130, Comm130 and WDD 100 all in my first semester along with my religion class FDREL 225. Well Art 130 is a Graphic Designers Class, Comm130 is a Visual Communication Class, and WDD 100 is a Web Design Class. Maybe to much designing at one time.
Any ways I am enjoying the classes myself, not to sure how happy my instructors are. All of them I will say have been very helpful. Nothing like I remember school being like back in the 1900's when I went to school in my youth.
Here is my latest project I handed in tonight or lets say early AM.
Let me know which one you like and I'll let everyone know which is the favorite.

This is my first draft for a fictional Magazine Cover.
What do you all think. I hated it after seeing how much work the other students put into theirs. I need to try harder. Also I need to get feed back from others that will give honest constructive critiques.
